Video Speed Changer

Change video speed and save a new file, entirely on your device.

It records while playing at the new speed, so processing takes the output duration. Quality and audio pitch may change; the format depends on your browser.

Record a new file while playing a video slower or faster. Choose the speed and whether to keep audio, preview it, then save. Videos are processed on this device without uploading.

To change only part of a video, first use Video Trimmer.

How to use

  1. Choose a video.
  2. Set the speed and audio, then preview.
  3. Keep this tab visible during conversion and download when done.

Examples

A 60-second video at 2×

A 60-second video at 2× produces about 30 seconds of output and needs about 30 seconds to record. Setup and saving can take extra time.

FAQ

Does it save a file or just change playback?

It saves a newly recorded file at the chosen speed. The original stays unchanged.

Why does conversion take time?

It plays through the video at the new speed while recording. This takes the output duration, plus setup and saving time.

Is the output MP4?

It saves MP4 if your browser supports recording it, otherwise WebM. If neither is supported, it cannot save.

Will voices change pitch?

They may. Supporting browsers offer Preserve pitch, but results can vary between browsers.

Can I switch tabs?

Keep this tab visible while recording. If it is hidden, conversion stops and the partial result is discarded.

Is the video sent anywhere?

No. It is processed in this browser and never sent or stored anywhere.
