Screen Recorder

Record your screen, a window or a tab, play it back and download it. No install, no upload.

Works in desktop browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari). Mobile browsers don't support screen recording. Most browsers save WebM; recordings are capped at 60 minutes.

To capture audio, also turn on 'Share audio' in the share dialog. Some browsers and systems don't support it.

Record your screen straight from the browser with nothing to install. Choose the whole screen, a single window or a browser tab, and include your mic and tab audio. The recording is made on this device only and never uploaded.

How to use

  1. Choose the audio options and press Start recording.
  2. Pick a screen, window or tab in the share dialog; recording starts after 3 seconds.
  3. Press Stop recording, check the preview and press Download.

FAQ

Is my recording uploaded?

No. Recording and saving happen entirely in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.

Does it work on phones?

No. Mobile browsers don't offer screen recording. Use your phone's built-in screen recorder.

No audio was recorded.

Turn on 'Share audio' in the share dialog to capture tab or system audio. Tab audio works best in Chrome and Edge; some browsers don't support whole-screen audio.

What format is it saved in?

Most browsers save WebM; Safari saves MP4. If you need MP4, use a separate converter.

How long can I record?

Up to 60 minutes. Long recordings get large, so check your device's free storage and memory.

Can I trim or shrink the recording?

Yes. Put the saved file into the Video Trimmer or Video Compressor tools.
