Add Watermark to Images

Put text or a logo on your pictures, many at once, all on your device.

The watermark is merged onto the picture and saved as a new file. Your original file isn't changed, and everything happens on your device.

Save asPNG stays PNG; everything else is saved as JPG.

Put text or a logo on your pictures. The size is a share of the picture's shorter side, so it looks similar on pictures of different sizes. Place it in one spot or repeat it as a grid, and adjust the opacity and tilt.

    How to use

    1. Choose one or more pictures.
    2. Type text or choose a logo, then set size, opacity and position.
    3. Press Apply watermark and download each picture or all of them as a ZIP.

    Examples

    1000×800 · 8% · bottom right

On a 1000×800 picture, text at size 8% (8% of the 800px shorter side = 64px), opacity 50% and bottom right sits 24px from the edges as semi-transparent text. Turn on the grid repeat and a −30° rotation to cover the whole picture with a slanted pattern.

    FAQ

Are my pictures uploaded to a server?

No. Pictures and the logo are processed only in this browser and are not saved or sent. The ZIP is made on your device too.

Can I add it to many pictures at once?

Yes. You can apply the same settings to up to 50 pictures at a time and download each one or all as one ZIP. The size is a share of each picture's shorter side, so it looks similar even when picture sizes differ.

What kind of logo file works best?

A PNG with a transparent background looks most natural. A JPG logo brings its background, such as white, along with it. The logo keeps its proportions and only its size changes.

How do grid repeat and rotation work?

Turn on Repeat as a grid and the watermark is laid across the whole picture in a regular pattern. Spacing is a share of the watermark size, and a rotation value tilts the whole pattern by the same angle. The position choice is available again when you turn the repeat off.

Does the quality or size change?

Pictures keep their original resolution. PNG stays PNG, and JPG is compressed again, so use the JPG quality slider to adjust it. The result is a new file and your original isn't changed.

How is this different from adding text to a photo? Can I use it on a PDF?

Add text to a photo is for placing text freely on one picture; this tool is built to put the same text or logo on many pictures at once. For a PDF, use the PDF watermark tool.
