PDF Watermark

Your text across every page, written on your device.

Everything happens on this device. No upload, no copy kept.

How to use

  1. Choose a PDF or drop it on the box.
  2. Type the text and set the angle, size and how faint it should be.
  3. Centre it, tile it across the page or tuck it into a corner, then download.

Examples

A draft going out for comment

DRAFT across the middle at 45° is read before the first line is, and it comes back on every copy that gets forwarded.

A document for one recipient

Tiling the recipient’s name faintly over every page makes a photographed screen traceable without making the text unreadable.

A quiet mark in the corner

A company name at the bottom right, no rotation, small: enough to show where the file came from and nothing more.

Several files going out together

Merge them first, then stamp once. PDF Merge

FAQ

Is the file uploaded?

No. The PDF is read, stamped and rewritten in your browser; nothing is sent to a server and nothing is stored.

Does Korean work?

Yes. The text is drawn with the fonts your device already has and goes into the PDF as a picture, which is why 대외비 and 사본 come out exactly as they look here. Writing them as PDF text would need a Korean font embedded in the file — megabytes of it.

Can the watermark be removed?

Not by clicking it, but do not treat it as protection. It is drawn over the page, so anyone determined enough can take it off with the right tool. It marks a document; it does not lock one.

Does it change the text underneath?

No. The pages keep their contents — text stays selectable and searchable — and the mark is drawn on top. Nothing is rasterised or recompressed.

Why is the tiled mark smaller?

A tile is half the size of a centred mark, or the page turns into a wall of overlapping text. Set the size and the spacing to taste; the preview shows what will land.

Does it work on a password-protected PDF?

No. An encrypted file is refused rather than half-opened, the same as in the other PDF tools here.
