How to use
- Drop in the PDFs, or pick them. Add more at any time.
- Put them in order with the arrows. The list order is the page order.
- Press merge and save the file. The original files are untouched.
Examples
One application, three attachments
A form, an ID scan and a statement come as three PDFs, and the portal wants one. Drop all three in, check the order, merge. The scanned pages keep their resolution because nothing is re-encoded.
Joining scans from a phone
Phone scanner apps tend to save one PDF per page. Select them all at once, sort them, and you get a single document. Names like scan_001, scan_002 come in sorted already.
Why the file size barely changes
Pages are copied, not printed again. The merged file is about the sum of its parts. If you need it smaller, compress the images before scanning or use a compressor afterwards.
Sensitive documents
Contracts, medical records, ID copies. Uploading those to a random merge site means they sit on someone else’s server. Here the merge runs in the browser tab and the bytes stay on your device.
FAQ
Are the files uploaded?
No. The browser reads the PDFs and builds the merged one in memory. There is no server involved, and the page keeps working with the network off.
Is there a file size or page limit?
No fixed limit. It runs in your device’s memory, so a phone will struggle with a few hundred megabytes at once. Split very large jobs into two merges.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
Not yet. A protected file is reported and skipped. Remove the password in the app that created it, then merge.
Will text stay selectable and links keep working?
Yes. Pages are copied intact, so text, links and bookmarks inside a page are preserved. Document-level bookmarks (the outline) are not carried over.
Can I merge only some pages of a file?
Not in this tool. It merges whole files. Split the file first with another tool if you need part of it.
What happens to the document title and author?
The merged file gets no title. Author, creator and other fields from the originals are not copied.
Can I merge images or Word files?
Only PDFs here. Convert images to PDF first, or print the document to PDF from the app.
