Cuts a photo into a circle and saves a PNG with a transparent outside. Border optional.
Everything outside the shape is saved as transparent PNG. Your original isn't changed; saving larger than the selected area can look blurry.

When you need a round photo for a profile picture or icon, pick the part you want and cut it into a circle. The outside is transparent, so it looks round on any background. The photo is processed on this device only.
How to use
- Choose a photo and pick Circle or Rounded square.
- Drag and zoom the frame over the part to keep.
- Set the size and border, then press Download PNG.
Examples
A 4000×3000 photo · 2× zoom · 512
Open a 4000×3000 photo and the centre 3000×3000 square is selected first; at 2× zoom it becomes 1500×1500. Choose 512 to save a 512×512 round PNG.
FAQ
Is my photo uploaded?
No. It is cropped inside your browser and never sent or stored anywhere.
Why only PNG?
Keeping the outside transparent needs PNG. JPG can't store transparency.
Are the edges smooth?
Edge pixels are made partly transparent according to how much of them lies inside the circle, so the edge doesn't look jagged.
How does the border work?
The inner edge of the shape is painted in the width and colour you pick. The image size stays the same; the border sits inside it.
Does saving at 1024 improve quality?
No. If the selection is smaller, it is enlarged and may look blurry. Quality never exceeds the original.
Can it crop to ID photo sizes?
