    FAQ

    How is it measured?

It times from the frame where the screen turns green to the moment your click, tap or key press arrives, using the browser's high-resolution timer.

Why do results differ between devices?

Input lag from your mouse, touchscreen or keyboard, your display's refresh rate and response time, and browser processing all add to the number. Compare results on the same device.

What if I click too early?

You'll see "Too soon", that try isn't recorded, and the wait starts again.

What is a normal reaction time?

It varies widely with the person, their condition and the device, so this page doesn't give a benchmark. Use it to compare your own results on the same device.

Are my results saved or sent?

No. They stay in this tab, disappear when you reload, and are never sent anywhere.
