Examples

What a Korean score counts

Korean speed is keystrokes a minute. 한영 costs six presses on a 두벌식 board, so typing it in ten seconds is 36 a minute.

What an English score counts

A word is five characters by convention, so 250 correct characters in a minute is 50 WPM — no matter how long the real words were.

Mistakes while a syllable is being built

Typing 한 goes ㅎ, 하, 한. The half-built syllable is not counted as wrong; only what you commit is judged.

When the letters come out as gksdud

That is the input mode, not your typing. The converter puts it back. Korean Keyboard Converter
