Examples

Wi-Fi for guests

Choose Wi-Fi, enter the network name and password, print the code and put it on the fridge. Phones join with one scan and nobody has to read out a 16-character password.

A business card that saves itself

The contact card option produces a vCard. Scanning it opens “add contact” with name, phone, email and company already filled in.

Menu or poster link

Paste the URL and download the SVG for the print file — it scales to any size without blurring. Use error correction Q or H if the print may get scuffed.

Why static matters

Many free generators make a redirect through their own server, so the code dies when their plan changes. These codes contain the data itself and keep working as long as the link does.

FAQ

Is the code stored anywhere or does it expire?

No. The code is drawn in your browser from what you typed; nothing is sent or stored. A static code never expires — it works as long as the link or network it points to exists.

What do the error-correction levels mean?

How much of the code can be damaged and still scan: L about 7%, M 15%, Q 25%, H 30%. Higher levels make a denser code. M is fine for screens; use Q or H for print or stickers.

PNG or SVG?

PNG for messengers, slides and web pages. SVG for anything printed or edited in a design tool — it is vector, so it stays sharp at any size.

Can I put a logo in the middle?

Not here yet. If you overlay one yourself, use level H and keep the logo under about 20% of the area so the code still scans.

Does Wi-Fi QR work on iPhone and Android?

Yes — both camera apps recognise the standard WIFI: format. Hidden networks are supported; enterprise (802.1X) networks are not.

Does it handle Korean text?

Yes. Text is encoded as UTF-8, which every modern scanner reads. Korean makes the code a little denser than the same length in English.

How much can a QR code hold?

Up to about 2,900 bytes at the lowest error-correction level, but codes that large are hard to scan. Keep links short; a URL shortener helps for long tracking links.
