A barcode drawn here is a picture of a number. Numbers for retail sale come from GS1.
The value stays in this browser.
How to use
- Pick the kind: Code 128 for letters and numbers, EAN-13 for a 12 or 13 digit product number.
- Type the value. EAN-13 gets its check digit worked out as you type.
- Set the bar width and height, then save it as SVG for printing or PNG for a screen.
Examples
A product number, twelve digits
880123456789 comes out as 8801234567893 — the thirteenth digit is the check digit, and it is added for you.
A thirteen-digit number that is wrong
If the last digit does not match, the right one is named rather than drawn, so a typo does not turn into a label.
A label for a shelf or a box
Code 128 carries letters, digits and punctuation — SHELF-A12 or an order number. Korean cannot be encoded; the symbology has no room for it.
Printing it
Save the SVG: it stays sharp at any size, and the quiet zone either side of the bars is part of the file. QR Code Generator
