Image Mosaic & Blur Tool

Drag over what should go, and it goes.

You drag over what to hide. Faces are not detected automatically.

Everything happens on this device.

How to use

  1. Open a picture, then drag a box over whatever should be hidden.
  2. Add as many boxes as you need; drag them to move, pull a corner to resize.
  3. Pick mosaic, blur, or a solid box, then save. The result is applied at full resolution.

Examples

A face in the background

Drag a box over it and the pixels under the box are replaced, not covered — what gets saved has no face in it.

A number plate or an account number

Digits survive a light mosaic better than faces do. Use a large block or the solid box when the point is that nobody can read it.

Several areas in one photo

Each box is its own area. Undo removes the last one; the rest stay where you put them.

Location data in the file

Hiding a face does not remove where the photo was taken. That tag is another tool. EXIF Remover

FAQ

Can the mosaic be undone by others?

Original pixels are replaced; for text or numbers use a large block or the solid box. There is nothing left in the saved file to reverse.

Does it detect faces automatically?

No. You drag over each area yourself for precise control — nothing is guessed and nothing is missed quietly.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Everything stays in your browser.
