Everything happens on this device.
How to use
- Drop a picture in, choose one, or paste it. It is drawn on this page, not sent anywhere.
- The palette appears with the share each colour covers. The slider asks for 5 to 10 colours.
- Click any spot in the picture to read that pixel, or copy the palette as hex or CSS variables.
Examples
The palette of a screenshot
Six colours with the share each one covers, strongest first. The numbers come from a small copy of the picture, so a photograph answers as fast as a mockup.
That colour, exactly
Click a spot and the reading is of the 5×5 around it, because one pixel of a photograph is as often noise as the colour you meant. Switch to one pixel for the exact value.
Into a stylesheet
The export writes --color-1 … --color-6 inside :root, ready to paste. The hex list is there for everything else.

FAQ
Is my image uploaded?
No. The image never leaves your device — it is drawn on a canvas in this page and the pixels are read there.
Can I get the exact colour of one spot?
Click or tap it and you get that pixel as HEX, RGB and HSL. The default reading averages the 5×5 around the click; switch to one pixel when you want the single value.
Are the percentages exact?
They are approximate, worked out from a downscaled copy with similar colours grouped together. They say which colours carry the picture, not how many pixels hold one exact value.
What about iPhone HEIC photos?
JPG, PNG and WebP open straight away. HEIC does not — convert it to JPG first and then bring it back here. HEIC to JPG
How is this different from the colour converter?
This one pulls colours out of an image. To turn a colour you already have into another format, use the converter. Color Converter
