    How to use

    A long weekend

    National Foundation Day falls on Saturday 2026-10-03 and Hangul Day on Friday 2026-10-09. The countdown is to the day itself — whether the office closes is a different question.

    The day after

    A date that has passed shows as D+N instead of disappearing, so an anniversary count works the same way as a countdown.

    Sharing the number

    FAQ

    Which time zone decides the day?

    Asia/Seoul. At 23:30 in Seoul it is still the same date there even though UTC has moved on, and the count follows the Seoul calendar date, not your device clock.

    Can I track several events at once?

    Yes. Add as many name-and-date rows as you want; they sort by how close they are, with past ones at the bottom.

    Are my dates stored anywhere?

    Only if you tick “keep on this device”, and then only in this browser. There is no account and nothing is sent to a server. Clear all removes it.

    How many days until the Suneung (CSAT)?

    The exam for the 2027 school year is on Thursday 19 November 2026. The table above counts the days left from today in Seoul as D-N (source: KICE basic plan, announced 2026-03-31).

    When is 100 days before the Suneung?

    It is the exam date minus 100 days: Tuesday 11 August 2026 for the 2027 school year, and Tuesday 10 August 2027 for 2028 (exam 2027-11-18).

    What are the preset dates?

    Suneung 2026-11-19 for the 2027 school year and 2027-11-18 for 2028 (a Thursday, as the exam always is), National Foundation Day 2026-10-03 and Hangul Day 2026-10-09. The exam dates follow the official announcements — edit the row if one changes.

    Does it work out holiday length or days off?

    No. It counts days to a date. It does not decide what is a public holiday, how long a break runs, or whether a day is paid. Korean Holidays
